Throughout various projects with Coinford their commitment, communication and quality has never wavered.  Ferguson’s are currently working on a project on our behalf for Berkley Homes, City Quarter, Leman Street, London E1, which is the construction of 400 residential dwellings. Each block has been completed and handed back well ahead of schedule. We found them very flexible and able to assist us where ever possible within our programme. For a number of years Ferguson Construction Ltd has been our brickwork contractor on various prestigious projects.  To date, work has been carried out to an extremely high standard, within some very tight programme times. Accounting, administration and communication has been very good throughout these projects, and all staff very conscientious. Ferguson Construction carried out the £1m brickwork package at our Granville Road, Barnet, project. Ferguson Construction provided full materials, labour and some mechanical plant, service and completed the scheme of 6 residential blocks and 3 commercial blocks within the site programme requirements. The works were carried out over a continuous period of 17 months, and all aspects of the works were carried out diligently and safely. Ferguson Construction’s site team worked well with our management staff, and with the other trade contractors, bringing additional site experience to the project. The good working relationship with Willmott Dixon have with Ferguson Construction Limited is now in to it’s third year. Without question, when measured against their peers and competitors through the rigorous performance monitoring as carried in preconstruction and on site practice. Ferguson Construction out perform in terms of safety management systems and on site safety practices, high quality of works on site, strict adherence to programme and often betterment to programme with innovative thinking and procurement routes. Further more there is a real personal touch from the top hierarchy at Ferguson Construction. That is to say they are in no way claims conscious or day work oriented. They have an attitude at all times of working with rather than against Principle Contractor, Design Team, interfacing Trade Contractors etc. Ferguson Construction equip themselves truly professionally with collaborative approach and working methods. Ferguson Construction are a tight unit with a majority of personnel having spent many years at the business. This is noticeable and beneficial where those at the very top have a close history and working relationship with their own site operatives.

During my time as a Quantity Surveyor, I have dealt with Ferguson Construction Ltd on various projects ranging from £30,000.00 to £450,000.00. They have not only been professional at management level but at site level too. They have carried out numerous building contracts for me, which have been completed on time and to a high standard. Their Health & Safety record has been excellent, with no injuries to themselves or others.

Ferguson Construction Ltd have carried out numerous projects with Buxton Building Contractors Ltd, two of those said projects I operated as Project Manager. One was a Sainsbury’s store and residential units at Clapham High St4reet, contract value £105,000 and the second project was sixty residential units at the old Hartleys Jam Factory in Rothsay Street, SE1, contract value £120,000, both labour only. Each project was carried out in an extremely professional manor with a high standard of Health and Safety, consistent quality in their work and most of all, Clapham completed 3 weeks ahead of programme, the Jam Factory completed 6 weeks ahead of programme. I found Mr. Alam Ferguson, and all Ferguson’s staff approachable and very easy to build a relationship for the progress of each project. To date, Ferguson Construction Ltd is an A list subcontractor on our database and are carrying out a residential project in Temperley Road, Clapham to the value of £350,000 with Buxton Building Contractors. Therefore I would highly recommend Ferguson Construction Ltd as a very professional Brickwork Contractor.

I have been a project manager for seven years and have worked on many projects inclusive of new and refurbished buildings, I have had the pleasure in working with some very good contractors of which I would say that Ferguson Construction are among the best. At the Tea Buildings on Bethnal Green Road they constructed blockwork to a very high standard in readiness for paint, the construction was deemed by the architect to be the best face work he had seen. I also managed the Academy @ Peckham and Ferguson Construction aided the project with many cost effective suggestions and a methodology that suited a school environment, the standard as always was snag free at hand over. There are many reasons I choose to work with Ferguson’s, but the main one would be that they bring knowledge and flexibility to the project along with attitude that gets things done, I have no hesitation in recommending Ferguson Construction to prospective main contractors.

Ferguson Construction Ltd was the sub-contractors for the Brick and Block Package on Lee Station, Lee, London, SE12. The package included Materials Plant & Labour and totalled £321K. A good working relationship was formed from the start and Ferguson’s assisted us in design problems, ensuring that the project remained on programme. With good communication and a high standard of work I would have no hesitation in recommending Ferguson Construction for any future projects we may have.
